To successfully participate in the Get Checking program,
you'll need to follow these steps:
After being referred to the Get Checking program,
contact ChexSystems to get your ChexSystems Consumer Report. You
can obtain the report at www.consumerdebit.com.
It usually takes about seven business days to receive your report
from ChexSystems. Individuals that have been reported for
fraud or suspected fraudulent activities are not eligible to participate
in Get Checking.
Register for your Get Checking class, either online,
or at 888-65-CHECK
Mail or drop off your class fee. Participation
in the Get Checking costs $40 for an individual or $60 for a couple.
Fees are due at least one week prior to your scheduled class.

Bring at least one form of photo identification
to the class
Arrive on time for all class sessions
Pass your competency exam at the end of the class
to demonstrate your account management skills
Pay off any account balances owed to all financial
institutions. You will not receive your Certificate of Completion
until this is done. Your instructor can show you how to accomplish
this and how to get payoff letters from the financial institutions
