Current Education Partners Get Checking classes are offered through Get Checking Northwest, a network of collaborative nonprofit education partners. Get Checking is an educational program designed to help consumers gain the ability to open deposit accounts with mainstream financial institutions – banks and credit unions. Millions of Americans are currently "unbanked" with no way to access basic financial services and build long-term financial relationships. This group of "unbanked" includes both individuals who may have had problems managing their accounts in the past or consumers who have simply never opened a deposit account. If you are a nonprofit that serves a population with financial challenges, you may want to join the Get Checking Northwest Educator Network.
